Genesis Rising Hard Freeze

My Configuration:
Mach Speed P4MSD-800 D2 Socket 775 motherboard
Intel Pentium D 940 3.2Ghz DT 800FSB
nVidia GeForce 6600 w/ 256mb DDR
1gb ddr2 ram

My Problem:
Without fail I get about 10-15 minutes into the game and there's a hard freeze. I have to reboot to get my machine running again. I've updated the drivers for my graphics card. I've run the most recent patches for the game. Still the freeze. Any ideas?

Is there any chance you have manually limited Windows swap file size? If so, please allow Windows to allocate the amount of virtual memory it needs.

Not even sure how I would manually limit the swap file size. So I don't think I did that. How would I check that?

got the same problem even though, have a swap file in excess of 20GB

mind you i have a uk/euro copy not a us copy, may be patch related

mind you teh hard freeze doesn't always occur its pretty random.
but 9/10 times it happens when opening the trade screen
