Here's my specs:
Hp Pavilion Intel Celeron CPU 2.93 GHz 512 MB RAM Windows XP Service Pack 2 Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller My issue: I am told that my Graphics Adapter will not support full screen mode, and I am asked to switch to window mode.I am then told that my graphics card is not on the supported list and that something may go wrong. Upon confirmation I achieve the following error: Renderer failed to create because: Open GL Extension not supported: GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object Does it seem that this error is fixable? This is the first good looking space sim game I've seen since Nexus, and I was really looking forward to checking this out... P.S. I really don't understand what's with so many unsupported formats. Game companies really know how to sh*t on the little guy because he can't afford a good graphics card P.P.S. I see that there is an activation code on one of the disc sleeve covers, however I am not asked to enter it. What's that about? EDIT: Added more Computer specs |

Ur trying to get Genesis Rising to get run on a laptop/notebook? Check the readme to find out if Ur LT/NB GPU can support GR.
If not ... then check this thread (Use at Ur own risk). http://www.dreamcatchergames.com/for...ad.php?t=30051

So Ur motherboard has a onboardgraphic-chip instead of a graphic card?
Anyhow. U might need to buy one. Thats the recommended GPU for GR (taken from the readme): Operating System: 2000/Windows XP/XP 64bit/Vista Processor: Intel P4 or AMD Athlon 2.5 GHz Memory: 1GB Hard Disk Space: 2.5 GB CD or DVD-ROM Drive Video: NVIDIA GeForceFX 6600 256 MB (or higher) or ATI Radeon X1600 256MB (or higher) DirectX version: 9 or higher Sound: DirectX Direct X compatible sound card with 5.1 speaker output Input: Keyboard & mouse |

Yeah I guess you call it a "graphics chip" now. I'll grab a new card then. Thanks I appreciate it.
